My one kid absolutely loves Bumble Bees which is awesome! She’s been telling me everyday how when she gets older she wants to have her own bee farm, which is awesome! I figured with this recent love for those fuzzy little bugs that we could do a craft together involving them. I came across one that uses paper plates that we both loved making that even rocks back and forth! Let me know in the comments how yours turned out.

Step 1: Start by painting the paper plate yellow.
Step 2. Once the yellow paint is dried you can paint on the black stripes. Set aside to dry.
Step 3: Once dried, fold the paper plate in half.
Step 4: With the plate folded in half you can round the right end of the paper plate with scissors for the head of the bee. Then the left side can be trimmed like image below so that it looks like the stinger. Just make sure to keep the bottom of the plate rounded so that it rocks when you’re finished.
Step 5: Once the body of your bee is ready you can start the wings. Take white cardstock and trace the hands to cut out your wings. You’ll need two handprints.
Step 6: Then glue on your googly eyes and wings to your bumble bee.
Step 7: Your bumble bee is all finished and ready to rock. By pressing the back of the bee your paper plate will rock back and forth.
